Angelina Jolie's been a longtime crusader
for those who need the most help, so it seems fitting that Angelina Jolie made
special note of yesterday's (August 19) observance of World Humanitarian
Day.
Of the day dedicated to recognize
humanitarian personnel and those who have lost their lives working for
humanitarian causes, the 37-year-old actress posted a message on Facebook
commenting on it's importance.
In her penning, Jolie wrote, “On World
Humanitarian Day we remember the aid workers who have lost their lives in the
line of duty and we honor the extraordinary courage and dedication of
humanitarian workers around the world."
Angelina, who has dutifully offered her
services to the UN Special Envoys as of late, finished by writing, “I had the
honor and the pleasure of meeting one of these brave individuals before his
murder during a visit to Pakistan, where I witnessed first-hand the incredible
devotion of a very kind and gentle man. His name was Mr.
Zill-e-Usman."
With baby Harper held at the hip,
Victoria Beckham was seen leaving Giggles N' Hugs restaurant in Century City,
California on Sunday (August 26).
The former Spice Girl wore a chic black
sleeveless top, skinny jeans, and black pumps and she left the birthday party
with her daughter.
In other Beckham news, rumors have
erupted concerning claims that classical singer Katherine Jenkins had an affair
with David Beckham. The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant tweeted on Friday,
"Dear Twitter friends, I’ve read some horrible rumours on here & want u 2
know I absolutely deny I’ve had an affair with David Beckham."
The scandal seems to have originated with
the Australian magazine Famous which printed a story in its latest issue
asserting the Beckhams had broken up.
Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis hit the
beach in Wilmington yesterday. They're in North Carolina where Jason is filming
We're the Millers with costars Emma Roberts and Jennifer Aniston. Jason got away
from the cameras to relax with his girlfriend of nearly one year, who made the
trip east last week, during the sandy afternoon.
Jason and Olivia showed love in the ocean
and lounged under the sun before packing up and heading out with her cute pup

It all began on the set of their film
“Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and now Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to be slated
to tie the knot this weekend in the South of France.
Four years ago, the couple purchased the
17th-century Chateau Miraval. The 35-room estate near the French village of
Correns will likely host the Hollywood wedding, according to a range of
reports.
The 48-year-old stud and his 37-year-old
wife-to-be apparently were scheduled to exchange vows last weekend, but it's
claimed that plans changed when alterations to the Chateau weren’t
finished.
According to the mayor of Correns,
Mickeal Latz, the wedding is “more likely” to occur tomorrow (August 19). On
Sunday (August 12), he said, “It's a far more likely date. There are no plans
for a civil wedding in Correns this weekend.”
When it comes to nuptial details, Miss
Jolie has apparently asked her 39-year-old brother James Haven to give her away
despite reconciling with her father, Jon Voight. Also on the guest list are
Brad’s parents, Bill and Jane, along with his brother Doug and sister
Julie.
Fellow celebrities likely to attend the
grand wedding include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise.
Angelina’s uncle, singer-songwriter Chip Taylor, has been invited, along with
her godparents, British actress Jacqueline Bisset and Austrian actor Maximilian
Schell.
Still, one of the best kept secrets is
who designed the bride’s wedding dress. According to reports, the brunette
beauty had several meetings with L’Wren Scott, but we’ll have to wait and
see!
Unable to take in the Olympics spectacle
nearby, Brad Pitt was found working hard on the set of "The Counselor" in London
Today (August 4).
The "Fight Club" star sported a tiny
ponytail with his all gray suit and white dress shirt, complete with brown
briefcase.
Directed by "Alien" helmsman Ridley
Scott, the film stars the 48-year-old hunk as an attorney who finds himself over
his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking. Cast members include Michael
Fassbender, John Leguizamo, Cameron Diaz, Penélope Cruz, and Javier
Bardem.
Before you see Pitt as an attorney,
however, you can see him as a thuggish enforcer charged with investigating a
robbery during a mob-protected poker game in "Killing Them Softly."
A new sneak peak trailer for the flick
has just been released in which Pitt's character, Jackie Cogan, explains his
preferred method. " You ever killed anyone? They cry, they plead, they call for
their mothers. I like to kill them softly, from a distance."
Everyone is waiting for them to finally
say "I Do," and it seems Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be walking down the
aisle this weekend.
According to a report, the
Jolie-Pitt-owned Chateau Miraval in France has been buzzing with event
preparations and guests are already arriving from all over the world.
An insider told press, “Brad flew in to
oversee preparations but they’re all here now. They say it's for Jane and Bill,
but some think this could be it. Even Angelina's private jeweler is
here."
However, Deputy Culture Secretary Patrick
Mareschi claims his office hasn't been informed of any wedding. “We don't know
anything about it. Under French law couples have to get married at the town
hall. Unlike with a religious wedding, there's no way a couple can hold a civil
ceremony at their own home."
Quick to dispel the rumors, Jennifer Aniston's rep denied reports that the former "Friends" star and boyfriend Justin
Theroux have broken up.
Allegations were printed in Star magazine
that the 43-year-old actress called it off with her man because he wasn't able
to commit after a year and a half of dating.
Ms. Aniston's rep told pressl, "It's once
again just another fabrication to sell magazines and has no relationship to
reality."
Star's evidence included a recent dinner
with a "mystery blonde" who turned out to be an old friend, comedienne Amy
Sedaris.
In reality, the two are still going
strong as the "American Psycho" actor was seen on July 30th heading to a group
dinner with Jen's pals, Courteney Cox, her daughter, and Laura Dern, while
Aniston is shooting "We're the Millers" in North Carolina.
Still situated in the UK as she's been

the the town for a night out in London on Thursday (August 2).
