desired men on the globe, and Brad Pitt lends his hotness to Chanel for their
new No. 5 fragrance ad campaign.
In the newly-released 30-second clip, the
“Fight Club” stud gazes into the camera while lulling ladies into a trance with
his soothing voice.
Pitt chatted about his experience working
with Chanel on the new initiative during a recent interview.
“What’s important to remember about
Chanel N°5 is how revolutionary this fragrance is; when it was introduced, it
broke all the rules.”
“N°5 has always been the most iconic
women’s fragrance. That’s what I see being the appeal of this campaign; it goes
beyond the abstract of emotion or beauty to evoke what is timeless: a woman’s
spirit.”
With his new movie "Killing Them Softly"
set to hit theaters on November 30, Brad Pitt garnered himself a little added
exposure by covering the November 2012 issue of Interview magazine.
The 48-year-old actor looked handsome as
he suited up for the Steven Klein shot spread while talking about topics
including his acting career and his passion to be behind the camera.
On choosing his films:
"Yeah. I mean, as you know, so much of
making movies is about discovery on the day, what you're figuring out. If you
know everything going in, then it's not worth doing—it's already done. So I'm
interested in finding people who I think have a voice—and a very specific voice.
It's hard to be surprised by a film. It's hard to be surprised by another actor
or by a director when you've seen enough and been around. So when I am, or when
I forget that I'm watching someone's movie, or when I don't know how someone
made a certain turn that I didn't expect . You know, I'm in."
On using different dialects in his
work:
"Well, you know, I like a bit of song,
and dialect is a song. I'm most comfortable with the Southern dialects, really.
It's easy, for example, for me to do Irish because we've got Irish heritage
where I come from. We also have some German heritage. The Upper East Coast,
though, is a little bit more connected to a British heritage."
On his producing career:
"Yeah. I'd rather be behind the camera.
As a producer, obviously, you're part of a team that brings the story to the
screen. It wouldn't be there if you didn't champion it or if you and a group of
people weren't championing it. I like that."
After a 15 month stint together,
AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell have officially ended their

“Though AnnaLynne's not in a rush to get married, her sisters getting engaged

to tie the knot this weekend in the South of France.
Four years ago, the couple purchased the
17th-century Chateau Miraval. The 35-room estate near the French village of
Correns will likely host the Hollywood wedding, according to a range of
reports.
The 48-year-old stud and his 37-year-old
wife-to-be apparently were scheduled to exchange vows last weekend, but it's
claimed that plans changed when alterations to the Chateau weren’t
finished.
According to the mayor of Correns,
Mickeal Latz, the wedding is “more likely” to occur tomorrow (August 19). On
Sunday (August 12), he said, “It's a far more likely date. There are no plans

Special Envoy looks into the camera to say, “Every minute, eight people around
the world are forced to flee their homes due to war and persecution".
"No one chooses to be a refugee," Jolie
adds, “Today, 43 million people worldwide have been displaced. We remember
them."
UNHCR provides life-saving assistance to
nearly 34 million of those in need, and the organization's goal is encourage
others to extend their generosity and support.
Angelina visited Ecuador in April to meet
with refugees, marking her first trip to the area since being appointed Special
Envoy of UNHCR High Commissioner Antonio Guterres.

On the vial of then-husband's Billy Bob
Thornton's blood she once wore around her neck: "It's my husband's blood … which
is beautiful to me, you know? Some people like diamonds around their necks or
things like that. I think that's beautiful. And it makes me, it's his life." —
MSNBC interview with Ann Curry, June 2001. Jolie later admitted that the vial
was really filled with a piece of paper stained with a tiny bit of blood, but it
sure did seem weird back then. She abruptly took it off when the two split in
2002.
On receiving her Best Supporting Actress
Oscar for "Girl Interrupted": "I'm in shock. And I'm so in love with my brother
right now, he just held me and said he loved me." — Jolie's acceptance speech at
the 2000 Academy Awards. Sure, we all love our siblings, but the term "in love,"
coupled with her smooching her brother, James Haven, on the lips in front of
cameras on the same night, threw the public for a loop, and the speech has
dogged her ever since.
On being paired with Brad Pitt for the
film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith": "It's actually a very funny combination. My opinion
of marriage comes from a very cynical place, so the question 'Do you want to
kill your spouse?' is a serious thing. And he comes from a place of 'What a
funny idea, to kill the person you're married to,' because he has a happy
marriage." — Vogue, March 2004. Today, of course, this comment seems especially
fascinating considering that the "happy marriage" between Pitt and his then-wife
Jennifer Aniston ended within a year of this interview, and he then
coincidentally struck up a relationship with Jolie. Eight years later, the
couple is raising six children together and is engaged to be married.
On not being the touchy-feely type: "It's
not going to accomplish anything to cry. It's not going to help you to get a
hug! I'm not a hugger. People make fun of me. It's something that I have a hard
time with. If someone hugs me, I hold my breath. Snuggling, cuddling, hugging,
