Looking dashing as always, Angelina Jolie
was spotted at the screening of her newest film "In the Land of Blood and Honey"
in London, England this afternoon .
The 36-year-old joined forces with
Foreign Secretary William Hague at the Foreign Commonwealth Office to launch a
dedicated British team to combat and prevent sexual violence overseas ahead of
the film's screening.
This new initiative was created ahead of
Britain’s 2013 presidency campaign and Mr. Hague spoke out saying, “It is in the
context of war and conflict that sexual violence is found to the most appalling
degree, and on a scale most of us cannot imagine.”
"Sexual violence is an issue which is
central to conflict prevention and to peace building worldwide," he
added.
Jolie is a special envoy for the United
Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and has visited countries in need
including Iraq, Dafur in Sudan and Libya and her new film is her big directing
debut and deals with mass rapes by Bosnian Serb forces.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's 'Make It Right' Night in New Orleans
Heading out to raise much-needed funds as the rebuilding
efforts pushes forth, Brad Pitt was joined by Angelina Jolie at the Hyatt
Regency in New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday night .
The Hollywood power couple turned up at the locale so that the "Moneyball" actor could team up with Ellen DeGeneres to co-host the charity fete titled "A Night to Make It Right".
The sold-out gala cost attendees between $1,000 and $2,500 with the festivities including gourmet cuisine along with a concert featuring a lineup of Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, Seal and Dr. John.
With other stars joining in on the money raising efforts including Sean Penn, Spike Lee, Josh Brolin and Kevin Spacey, the star-studded affair also boasts an afterparty with actor-comedian Aziz Ansari playing host while Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and the Soul Rebels are among those taking the stage.
Talking to Reuters about whether it was difficult to get big names to come to New Orleans, Pitt laughingly replied, "Even though these people don't like me that much, it really was simple."
"They carved this time out of their schedule strictly for this event, and came on their own dime," he added. "We have so much incredible talent that wanted to come and support the city - it's going to be like a mini-Grammys show."

Brad Pitt Talks Engagement, Wedding Date While Promoting "Killing Them Softly"
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's engagement
could be a long one! A month after the actor slipped a custom-designed diamond
ring on his lady love's finger, he says they aren't rushing to the
altar.
"We actually really, truly have no date," Pitt, who is promoting his new gangster flick "Killing Them Softly," said at a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday. And they're not abandoning their previous position that they would like same-sex marriage to be legalized before they take the plunge. "We're still hoping that we can figure out marriage equalit
As for why, after seven years and six kids together, they decided to get engaged, Pitt said it was all about the timing. "It's just something that makes sense to us," he noted.
Pitt, who was casually dressed for the event in a grey suit and white T-shirt and sported a goatee, said he's flying solo at Cannes this year because Jolie, who is getting ready to shoot "Maleficent," is too busy to attend. "She's actually not here right now," he said. "She's prepping for a movie she starts very soon."
But she was a frequent topic of conversation. Pitt was also asked if he and Jolie, who fell in love on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" when he was still married to Jennifer Aniston, would costar in another movie. He replied: "Yeah, we'd love to." Although it was rumored that collaboration would take place in "The Counselor," it now looks like Cameron Diaz will be playing the part instead.
In Pitt's upcoming crime thriller "Killing Them Softly," he plays Jackie Cogan, who is a professional enforcer called in to investigate a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game. Ray Liotta also stars and Andrew Dominik directs.

Jennifer Aniston "Doesn't Care" About Brangelina Engagement
Seven years after the most talked about
affair in Tinseltown, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have confirmed they are
indeed engaged and - although it might be hailed the most anticipated celebrity
wedding of all time - there is one celebrity who doesn't care to hear any of the
details.
Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston has been rumored to still have feelings for the actor over the years, but it seems to not be the case anymore.
Upon learning about the engagement, an Aniston pal assured E! News, "She doesn't care. She really doesn't. She's happy with Justin [Theroux]. She'll probably marry him. She's moved on. People don't want to believe it, but she has."
Aniston was reportedly at home when she found out Brangelina are set to wed, as another source revealed, "She was happy and hanging out with her man".
It seems the 43-year-old actress has really been enjoying her year long relationship with Theroux, and she recently opened up about their relationship, telling Australia's Marie Claire, "He's a protector, for sure, he's just a good human being, and so funny."

Billy Bob Thornton Talks Angelina Jolie Regrets
Billy Bob’s not the most traditional
celebrity, and Billy Bob Thornton confessed he made a big boo-boo when it came
to his marriage with super-hottie Angelina Jolie.
The “Monster’s Ball” star noted that he struggled to think he was “good enough for her” and finally just “blew it.”
Thornton explained, "She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine. I was just too insecure. I felt like the Phantom of the Opera hiding in the catacombs. People actually said that I didn't deserve to be with her."
"When you're in a relationship, any two celebrities or whatever, you know, I think that puts on a lot of pressure. When Angie and I got married, during that time, I was more famous than she was to start with and then she becomes this big thing, it's hard in these relationships.”
"We had a great marriage and I chickened out because I didn't feel good enough. That's all that happened. It was no big deal, we never hated each other,” he added.

Angelina Jolie's Goodwill Visit to Ecuador
Following a brief holiday on the
Galapagos Islands to celebrate her engagement to Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie was

The “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” actress opted for a makeup-free appearance as she met with Columbian refugees, sporting rubber boots, a tank top, and a backpack.
Jolie, a special envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, also spent some time with regional farmers and High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres.

Brad Pitt would be the new representative for Chanel No. 5
Past models for the famous women's
fragrance have included movie stars Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tautou, and Vanessa
Paradis. But a man?
Though the decision marks a break from tradition, it's in keeping with Chanel's long-running ad campaign in that it not only trades on Pitt's unimpeachable seductiveness (twice confirmed by People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive cover), but also brings to mind his equally glamorous partner, Angelina Jolie. In part, " this is a way of saying Angelina Jolie without saying Angelina Jolie," says William M. O' Barr, professor of cultural anthropology at Duke University and author of ADText, an online textbook about advertising and society. "What's true about Chanel spokespeople is they are people with classic beauty, and I think this is Brad Pitt's charm here."
"There is also the implication that the fabulous Ms. Jolie might use the perfume, and thus be worthy of emulation," says Sidney J. Levy, professor of marketing at the University of Arizona. "While it is a cliche to say [women] really dress for other women," Levy adds, "they surely care about how they smell to men."
Pitt is not the first man to sell women's products. Bob Dylan appeared in a Victoria's Secret (LTD)ad in 2004. In India, women's soap brand Lux (UN) ran an ad featuring Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan in a bathtub filled with flower petals and surrounded by four actresses. "The novel commercial was an enormous success both because viewers liked it and because the press gave it an extraordinary amount of publicity," according to ADText.
O' Barr says part of advertising is breaking through the clutter. "Someday someone might ask me, why is that gorilla coming down the staircase with underwear in its mouth? I'll say it's the shock value of it all. That's perhaps the most important thing going on here. Attention and publicity. It works beautifully."
Pitt has also appeared in ads for Levi's jeans, Heineken, Tag Heuer, as well as commercials in Japan, according to IMDb. Chanel will pay Pitt seven figures, reported People, and the perfumer's first television ad featuring Pitt will be released overseas later this year.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Galapagos Islands Water Tour
Continuing forth with their worldwide
travels, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went on a family sight-seeing expedition
in the Galapagos Islands on Monday .
The newly engaged Hollywood power couple deboarded a private jet with their brood before loading onto a docked water vessel to cruise the waters and check out the volcanic islands' scenery.
The overseas excursion comes just as Miss Jolie has been named as an honorary citizen of Sarajevo as a thank you for her attention-grabbing film directorial debut titled "In the Land of Blood and Honey".
Of the decision by the Bosnian government to dote the accolade on the actress, a source told Us magazine that it was for "her contribution to the preservation of truth about the war in Sarajevo and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and her dedication to the protection of the principles of humanity, democracy, tolerance and solidarity between people of different ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds".

Chelsea Handler Slams Angelina Jolie
It's no secret that she's not a fan of
Angelina Jolie, and Chelsea Handler had more choice words about the "Changeling"
chick in her interview with More magazine's May 2012 issue.
The "Chelsea Lately" host, who also happens to be BFFs with Jennifer Aniston, was asked to describe the "the opposite of a girl's girl."
She replied, "Probably Angelina Joie. You just know as a woman, when you see another woman, if that's a woman you can trust."
"Angelina Jolie doesn't strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with," she added. Back in December 2012 Chelsea called Jolie a "home wrecker."
